The 8 steps above are pretty much my tips - but the most important ones in my opinion are:
- Step 2: Take regular breaks from near work
- Step 4: Only wear glasses when you REALLY need them and take them off for near work and all other times when you don't *really* need them (eg eating, hanging out with family and friends etc).
- Step 5: Purchase undercorrected glasses (start just a little lower than what you have right now - say 0.25 or 0.5 lower) and do print pushing with those to train your eyes.

As for how long to do print pushing for - in my opinion you don't really need to think about it too much if you wear slightly undercorrected glasses. If you're wearing undercorrected glasses you do push printing naturally, automatically every time you're on the computer reading, or doing other stuff that challenges the eyes a little. I have been putting subtitles on the tv to give me something to push-print on even when I'm chilling out with a show / movie. You know the glasses are the right prescription to train your eyes with when you can still read the computer screen / subtitles/ text - but it's JUST a little uncomfortable - but not too uncomfortable - you don't want to get headaches or eye strain. That way, with just the right amount of blur present, you have something to work towards; something to strengthen; to train from blurry to sharper. Hope that helps! Good luck on your journey! :)

I haven't decided yet when a good time for an update would be.. when my eyesight is fully 20/20? or a "1 year on" thing? I dunno, we'll see : ) So far it's been roughly 8 months since I started on this journey.

At the moment I'm now at the point where I'm training my eyes with -1.75s, and am seeing more or less perfectly with -2.50s and -2.25s.

Hi Taha, I'm planning on writing an update article soon, but I'll give you a quick update here in the meantime:

Yes! My eyesight is getting a lot better! When I started my prescription was over -4.00 in both eyes and at this stage I can see more or less perfectly with my -2.75s and am using -2.25s for training.

I've found keeping up with all the exercises a little difficult in the long-run, and a couple months on, now I only do one thing mostly, which is "print pushing" using under-prescriptive glasses to train my eyes. I've found that training your eyes to work within your blur zone is a really powerful tool to improve up your vision. Hope that helps! :)
